In the picturesque Great Hall of Palace Stutternheim in the Huguenot City of Erlangen, the Head Librarian Mrs. Grimmer and the German director of the local CI Dr. Xu-Lackner greeted the audience and introduced guest speaker Prof. Clart from Leipzig University, who is also the great-grandson of the photographer.

In a mere half hour, Prof. Clart introduced the complex historic topic of Tsingtau and outlined connections to Imperialism, Architecture, Economy and Social Sciences. This and the fact that Nuremberg was Mr. Prasser’s adopted home leaves a lot of material for further study and exhibition.
