Prof. Feng Xingyuan, professor of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and vice director of Unirule Institute of Economics, visited Erlangen on June 11 to talk about the recent past, present and future of China’s economy.

Beginning with the rise of China, he continued to introduce the Chinese Model and related concepts like the Washington Consensus. With his reinterpretation he revealed interesting facts about the Chinese Miracle that led him to problems and perspectives. After that, the audience was eager to pose questions about this fascinating topic.
